DRIVING DIRECTIONS
From Ronald Reagan International Airport (DCA)
- Follow signs to exit the airport towards Washington and I-395 North.
- Take I-395 North to 6th Street SE.
- Take the 6th Street SE exit and proceed to 8th Street SE.
- Take a left on 8th Street and The Ugly Mug is located on your left.
From Dulles International Airport (IAD)
- Follow Route 267 (Dulles Airport Road) towards Washington to Interstate 66.
- Take Interstate 66 East towards Washington across the Roosevelt Bridge.
- Interstate 66 becomes Constitution Avenue in Washington, DC.
- Proceed down Constitution to 7th Street NW.
- Turn right on 7th and continue to Independence Avenue SW.
- Take a left on Independence Avenue SW and proceed approximately two miles (a landmark is the Capitol on the left side and Independence SW turns into Independence SE).
- At 1st Street SE there's a split in the road and at this point bear right onto Pennsylvania Avenue SE.
- Continue on Pennsylvania Avenue to 8th Street SE and turn right on 8th Street and The Ugly Mug is located on the right.
From Baltimore Washington International Airport (BWI)
- Follow Interstate 295 South (Baltimore Washington Parkway) towards Washington.
- Exit right for Route 50 West (New York Avenue).
- Route 50 becomes New York Avenue. Proceed on New York Avenue following the signs downtown.
- Follow Route 50 to the area of 4th Street NW and pay attention to the overhead signs.
- Near 4th Street NW, you will turn left to Interstate 395 and Interstate 295.
- Follow under the tunnel and merge onto I-295 via the exit on the left (stay in the left lane in the tunnel).
- Take the 6th Street SE exit towards the Navy Yard.
- Turn right onto G Street SE and then turn right onto 8th Street SE. The Ugly Mug is located at 723 8th Street.
